A dragon's nest on a volcano...

The Dragon's Nest at Niercombe is the first work of this kind by Nils Udo. It is located at the top of an (extinct!) volcano at an altitude of 1425m on a private estate located in the Auvergne volcanoes regional natural park. The nest is made up of a single raw block of basalt in which six polished black basalt eggs are embedded.
